Lemon Laws
The federal Lemon Law, the
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, was enacted in 1975. The Magnuson-Moss
Warranty Act addressed abuses surrounding warranties. Each state has
also enacted Lemon Laws individually. Please see the menu at right

My first new car was a Chrysler product. I was stunned that it
broke down just a few months after driving it off the lot. I was so
unhappy about the experience that I wrote to Chrysler's corporate offices.
They just laughed at me. Yea, I got a response, but it just made me
more angry. They didn't even bother to offer a loaner while my car
was being fixed. And, that's all it would have taken to make me
happy. Sadly, I didn't know about Lemon Laws back then. From
my experience, I've decided to build this site to help you with your
lemon.
